the moody blues - 1968 French TV

a period of transition, as it were.
I was a big fan of them up til 7th Sojourn. Then they moved on and so did I.
None the less, an interesting bit of video as they play some of their "progressive" material, some of their old R&B covers as they were, and some R&B covers as "progressive".
Sound is rather phasey, but interesting to watch the kids dance.
Like a Goddard film.

fritz--my experience exactly, except they lost me at every good boy deserves favor. listened again about fifteen years later, i found it puerile and pretentious (not unlike myself when i was a fan) but, boy, was it ever heavy back in the day!. i'm going to see them in a few weeks for the first time since about '72. should be interesting. or not.

my neighbors have seem them a couple times in the last few and said it was very good.
there's only 3 of them touring anymore and only Graeme Edge (74) is a true original from back in the days of Denny Laine and Go Now. Justin and John are both part of the 2nd "prog" band only.
