I was browsing a website and noticed the the Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman are available in England, Australia and parts of Europe but not here.

Why? They are U.S. shows?

Ally McBeal had been available in England and Asia for years but nothing here.

why?

Does anyone know?

Just wonderin'

To annoy us. There's a British series I really want to get, but it's not available here.

'Probably just licensing issues.

It's more expensive to get synchronization licenses in the U.S.

[sendit.com] ship internationally, have used them many times and they are pretty cheap too.

Yes. same reason it took them over 2 decades to release the movie "Heavy Metal" on DVD. The original contracts never covered digital media. Vinyl and tape soundtrack and VHS video only until a few years ago. i don't know which band was the hold out.

They have the series I want, but it's not cheap. Amazon's UK price on the first set of DVDs is £34, Send-It's price is £43.

Ebay has them but most are "copies" though some look pretty good.
