You mean nobody ever showed you the trick to doing that?

I just saw the method illustrated in one of the latest emails or magazines from Martha Stewart.

Google might provide a link. It's something that I have a problem with, as well.

• Getting my cat to enjoy a trip to the vet (or more accurately, trying not to get scratched as she attempts to claw her way to freedom when she thinks we're going to the vet).

ah, you have to master the technique of laminar flow running down both sides of the lens at the same time.

I mastered this technique long time ago. This guy is a a novice but you get the idea

Our trick with our 17 lb cat, that I swear might be stronger than me ... Set the cage up on its end, open top-- make sure its out of sight. Pickup cat under front legs and drop in back legs first.

1- Turn the pillowcase inside out and roll it up. Like socks, not that ! Jeez...
2- Roll the pillowcase onto the pillow. Again.. like a sock. Wow, you guys.
3- Flip and grab the outside of the pillowcase and shake it the rest of the way in.

LOL! Now, that's ingenious...

I will have to pass that along.

Backing them in is generally easier than try to get them in head first. You can get them into front-loading carrier by putting the rear end at the carrier opening and backing them into it, then quickly shutting the door. They will back away as you push gently on the front end.

Another trick, since we are also talking about pillow cases, is to just bag up the cat in a pillow case and put the whole thing in the carrier.

Eh, you don't have to be nearly that elaborate, but that basic technique works. You just we the glasses under warm water, put some dish soap on your wet fingers, clean the lenses, rinse until the soap is off. There will be a few drops to blot with a microfiber cloth. The water mostly runs off because of the coatings on the lenses.

The pillow case trick is bogus. I have the scratches to prove it.

Roll up a pillowcase?

Here's an option.
Turn PC inside-out.
Insert hands into PC.
With hands inside two corners of PC, grab two corners of pillow. (Pinch pillow corners between corners of pillowcase.)

Leet go and grab remaining two corners of PC.
Use gravity to shake pillow into case.

(This technique is even more of a timesaver when putting a duvet cover back on duvet.)
