That's last years model, which quite oddly benchmarks worse than the 2015 model.

256GB SSD is at least better than the 1TB Fusion drive in that 27" Retina iMac a few days ago. Man, I think I would have bitten on that if it had this drive instead. Granted, it's easier to get by with the 256GB in a desktop. I'd want a 512GB SSD in a Macbook Pro.

The RAM is soldered in, not the SSD.

It's soldered in in the Touchbar model. Not sure about the non-Touchbar model.
