Interesting! I like to shoot doorways and windows and other architectural features when playing tourist, but never thought about chimneys. Nice shots, too. I like the solitary pigeon.

Some of those buildings look as if they could tumble down at any time!

Ah, but some of them, no doubt, have already outlived the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the First World War, the Soviet Empire, the Cold War, and the resurgence of an independant Hungary...
They've earned their scars.

Budapest is on my "gonna go there some day" list! Fairly high on the list... (Scotland, France, and the Czech Republic are the only ones ahead of it).

I still do the doorways and gates, but I like the utilitarian aspects of different cultures, their solutions to common problems, hence the chimneys.
Also garbage cans and fire hydrants....
