how to save a website for later viewing

I sometimes bookmark a website for future reference only to have it disappear after some time. Is there a way to save the text (or whole) of a website as a archive?

You can print the page to a pdf file.
You can select reader view, and print the page to a pdf file.
If you use Vivaldi browser, you can save the entire page as a single image, no matter how long it is.
If you use any browser, Websnapper by Tastyapps can be used to save the entire page as a pdf or single image.

You can use SiteSucker to archive the entire website, links and all.

Drag and Drop the url onto the desktop. When you're ready to read that web page, double click on the icon that was created on your desktop.

View: Show Reader: Print: Save as PDF

You need Safari.

Thanks everyone. Viewing as a reader and saving as pdf worked great.

Safari also provides a 'Save As' command that gives you the option of saving the page as a Web Archive, or Page Source.
