Current MBPs in the refurb store

I've been checking for some time and today see the new 15 inch MBPs with the touch bar in the refub store. I've been itching for a new MBP... my current is a mid-2012 and that just seem too long!

Oh what to do......

Assuming your 2012 has a SSD and 16 GB of ram -- and you only use it for the basics, i doubt if you see any real huge "speed up" in day to day use over a new MBP

Yeah, I upgraded to the SSD and 16 GB of RAM... it's plenty fast for me on a daily basis... but it's been 5 years.... I WANT something new!

My apologies, didnt realize this is a want vs need. ;)

If its a want, then buy away! smiley-music039

The next MBP should be a good upgrade, but I have no clue how long it will take Apple to release a 7th generation. They weren't willing to go with a higher power RAM controller because the battery to drive it would be 0.02 mm thicker than they wanted.

Sounds like me. I've got an old MBPro that's humming along, and an old Kenmore fridge, a 3rd gen iPod Nano, and a Toyota Echo that's also long in the tooth. Would love to upgrade...

But these things WON'T DIE!!!
