My google Fu is weak...

I am trying to find a few good articles / papers on the way that polemicists use speech patterns to force listeners / viewers to 'find a pattern' in completely unrelated events in order to 'prove' their theories. Mrs. cbelt3 is enthralled by a few youtubers who do this. And for some reason (ADHD / Dyslexia ?) that sort of stuff drives me nuts and I refuse to hear it, much less 'find a pattern'.

You've probably heard or see the sort of thing... a quick succession of points....
Jobs and Wozniak were both named Steve.
Apple was started in a garage.
Garageband was started when Steve Jobs was CEO
Apple software is designed to produce hypnotic reactions in some people.
Apple hired Guy Kawasaki to be an Evangelist.
Evangelists spread religion.
Apple is a religion that wants your children to join satanic garage bands !
Wake up sheeple !

I gave it a try. "Interactive cognition" popped up after a few tries, seems related, but it needs to have some sort of hook to imprint final idea on listeners.
