F/U to How Much Slack for Friend?

Messaged her yesterday (nobody calls anymore) and found out that she had forgotten about the ride and had booked yoga sessions instead.

She offered to do the recon ride either this coming Thursday or Friday (May 25, 26 respectively) but since she has a professional certification exam in the next couple of weeks I declined. For one thing, don't want to be riding with someone who's distracted.

Also, she will be going on two group rides this Sunday and I suspect that she will push herself too hard again and probably injure herself. No, I am not going on those rides; in fact, I had signed up for one of them and dropped out.

This clears up my schedule nicely; three rides on Friday (one being that recon ride), one longish ride on Saturday night and a recovery ride on Sunday evening.

First ride is a pre-dawn volunteer patrol/training ride of maybe 18 miles.
Second ride is an easy 45 miles.
Third ride or the recon ride, no idea which is why I am doing it. Maybe 25-30 miles? Couple of small hills that some people struggle on.

Saturday night will be a ride to an industrial area so...80 miles I think.

Sunday evening's recovery ride perhaps 45 miles depending on route.

All this depends on how my new Gilles Berthould Aravis saddle breaks in or not.
