Brother Toner cartridge: Recycle or Refill?
Posted by: space-time

I have 3 EMPTY toner cartridges, TN-450. They come with pre-paid UPS USPS labels to send back to Brother for recycling. I wonder if it makes sense to find a local vendor that can refill these? I DO NOT want to do it myself (too messy I guess).

What's your advice?

Thanks

EDIT: USPS

I have found that they are good for one/two reuse/refill then recycle, that's without cleaning them and just refilling. Find a local vendor/office place for a refill. My wife is a teacher and would print out a lot of stuff to post. Now not so much.

We get our TN-460 toner from Supermedia stores and it works just fine.
Your empties can go to Staples or other office stores for credit if you wish.

I've refilled my Brother toner cartridges from 3rd party sources just fine.
