P1150 and P1155 on 2001 Toyota Camry Solara 6 Cylinder

I have a P1150 and P1155 on this 2001 Toyota Solara. In reading the internet, I have read that some auto stores and internet sites have the wrong information as to what sensor it is and its location. Some say Bank 1 Sensor 2, but….

So from Reading, it appears on this 6 Cylinder the bank 2 is front of car and bank 1 is towards firewall, and sensor 1 are the AF Sensors, and sensor 2 are the O2 sensors for checking function of smog system.

So I come up with Bank2 Sensor1 as the one that needs replacing.

Replace both. After 16 years, they could probably use some RnR…

Wrong forum man This specific a question needs to be asked on the Toyota owner's forum.

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan

It's great that you provided the link to the toyota forum where you got your information.
regardless the confusion on the Toyota forum are you saying the sensors both test as they should in the pic ( at room and running temps ) but still result in errors ?

Replaced the front sensor bank 2 (FRONT), and sensor 1 (Before the Cat Converter), so the easiest one to get to. But $150 at Pep Boys, Job done, and CEL reset.
