Tomorrow night...finally.

Ron Howard's THE BEATLES: EIGHT DAYS A WEEK – THE TOURING YEARS will be broadcast on PBS (check your local listings). I kept reading about the film, from inception to completion, but I don't recall ever seeing that it was ever released in theaters. But if it was and you missed it, here's your chance. And it will be followed by SGT. PEPPER’S MUSICAL REVOLUTION. I can think of worse ways to spend a Saturday night.

Should be great. Plus if you can get it 'Springsteen, In His Own Words' on BBC Sunday night. A musical weekend.

I’ll be they are fund-raising. They interrupted the Sgt. Pepper constantly last time they were soliciting.

Oh, yes. I meant to mention that. Still worth watching (and worth supporting).

I regularly send money to PBS, and I will watch this eventually, but no way am I going to try to watch it during a pledge drive.

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan

Pledge drives may be the only time it's broadcast on PBS.

Amazon

Blue Ray $22.32
DVD $18.29

No interruptions.
Bonus Features, etc.

But I would still support PBS.

FYI, you can see it on Amazon without interruptions for $4.99. I watched it recently, it’s excellent.
