Safe to jump into iOS 11 yet?

I have a 6s Plus that I use on a regular basis so I would like to make the jump when iOS 11 is free of big problems.

I’ve had no issues except for a few older apps that don’t work.

No problem with apps on my 6s but my battery life is not as good as it was. Don't know if the decline in battery life is due to IOS 11, but i need a charge much sooner than I used to with similar usage. Probably getting slower performance, but with what I do that is not obvious.

I had battery problems on my 5s with one of the ios 11 updates; fast drain and sometimes i would just not charge when plugged in overnight. An update a couple of weeks later seems to have taken care of it.

The only problem worth mentioning is the loss of 32-bit apps.

Make sure that your favorite apps are not among those that will stop working under iOS 11.

I forgot that's one of the reasons I haven't upgraded. I don't play it a lot any more but one of my favorite iPhone games is Tower Madness which won't run on iOS 11. There's no update available because there is a different, newer version. I have Tower Madness 2 (or whatever it's called) but I just don't like the new version.

The Tower Madness maker had years to update their APP. They DNGAF. iOS 11 did not make them NGAF.

11.2.1 on my 5S. So far so good. Battery life seems a little longer actually. I think it did get worse with the original 11, but it's pretty good now.
But i don't have a lot of apps or play games on it.

11 has been fine on everything so far. There may have been a dip in battery time early on, but I can’t be positive. One thing I do with my iPhone is to go through the settings looking for things that are using background app refresh, and shut that off for any app that I only use occasionally. It can’t hurt to check and see if something is turned back on after an upgrade that you normally keep turned off.

My iPhone5 does not support iOS 11. 10.3.3 seems to be the limit.

won't run on my ipod touch gen 5 either as it is a 32 bit device
ios 11 only runs on 64 bit architecture

I have many devices in my household and the ones that have been upgraded to iOS 11 all have a weird little problems. They aren’t on usable but it is annoying to always have these little screen glitches. If a stranger asked me I would recommend waiting.

If a friend asked me, I’d say upgrade. Nary a problem on all iPhones I know of, 4, running iOS 11.xx

Wife and her iPhone 6S Plus and iPad 2017 version works fine. Only glitch she has noticed is the iMessages app. It sometimes puts her messages out of order, it takes a quit and restart of the app to fix it. She types a message, her sister responds, her sisters message goes above hers. After restarting the app it gets fixed, then it happens again. Overall, no problems, she doesnt use wi-fi calling so that wasnt an issue when it was an issue or if it still is an issue on Sprint.
