I just discovered that my public library (Sacramento) provides free access to this for members.

Maybe yours does as well.

Mine does. I haven’t used that benefit yet.

I have used Overdrive to download and listen to a lot of audiobooks though. Overdrive is a GREAT app/benefit.

Mine does too. They just announced it a week or so ago.

BTW: This gets you the project files that you normally only get with the "premium" priced Lynda plan.

How does it work? Is it on the SacLib site? Or can you only access in branch?

I'm surprised to find out that the Enoch Pratt Free Library doesn't participate in this. On the plus side, this thread reminded me to check out the audiobooks available, so thank you for that.

I've got online access to three different library systems, but none of them support Lynda.com.

But all three do have Overdrive, and I've enjoyed the access to ebooks.

Thanks for reminding me about this. When I checked last year, our library did not have this, but now it does.

I had a good feeling about it when I tried to log in...but no joy. Maybe next year.

Edit: Not only that, I owe 90 cents. :-(
