Today's Travel Entertainment... Fleeing the police successfully !

Driving in to work this morning on a divided state highway with noise walls. And there is one spot where they built a nice little police hide spot. Except they hardly ever set up a speed trap during rush hour. So I'm buzzing along about 12 over the limit in my beat up little brown Honda Civic. And I see the cop hiding there.... crap.... slowed down, tucked right and kept going... and then another guy in a brown Honda Civic Si goes blasting by at about 90.

And the officer rolls out lights blazing. And the guy with the faster Civic Si tucks right in between two slower cars on the right, kills his lights, and just waits.....

And the officer blasts past, not even seeing just another couple of crappy Civics.

Mu ha ha ha !!! If you're going to have a speedy car, make sure it looks just like a regular car....

It was dark and he turned off his lights while between 2 other vehicles? Balls of steel. In the ATL, you couldn’t be pulled over for going 12 over in rush hour. Not fast — or unique —- enough for them to care.

FWIW.. dawn had already come, so it was legal to run without lights. Most of us had ours on though.
