No. I just take it off if I'm going to do something that will get it beat up. Pretty much a rule with any sort of jewelry.

No. I run naked.

I used a Spigen case on my Stainless Steel AW and in one week I got light, fine scratches that are a little tough to buff out. Grit gets trapped underneath. The texture of the Aluminum Watches probably doesn’t scratch easily, or it’s very hard to see.

So I run naked.

No case since January 2018.
No regrets so far.
Original band too.

I have the aluminum watch version 1 with a sport band. I wear it all the time. In spite of being on my wrist while making my way through branches and bramble, it's held up just fine. There's only one scratch that I don't even notice most of the time.

I have the original apple watch. If I work in the garden the Digital Crown will become dirty and not function properly. I run it under water while I wash my hands and all is well again. So I do not feel a need for a case.

Nope. I treat it like I would any other watch. It's an original AW, but last summer, (after using an impact wrench) I had the watch face slightly separate from the base. Although well out of warranty, the separation was a known problem and Apple replaced my watch with another after calling them and pleading my "case". big grin smiley

I use some soft TPU ones. Not necessarily for protection, more so I can change the color of my watch to match bands, outfits, etc.

I don't use a case. The watch is ugly enough without one.

But the hardened glass is a joke. This thing scratches like crazy. Shoulda gotten the sapphire.

Lucky for me, a few minutes of buffing with high quality glass polish cleans it up pretty well.

Have the original Apple Watch and haven't had a a case until about a month ago. Got a great deal on the Catalyst case and band for it. This case basically makes the first gen watch waterproof to a limited depth.
