Numbers... you know, Apple’s poorly named spreadsheet program that few people use.

DAMN apple and their silly naming of apps... do they have any idea how difficult it is to find help on google when you have problems with 'Photos'? Or numbers?

Wow, I totally thought this thread was going to be about visitor numbers for Yosemite National Park. That I could tell you. Sadly, the real question I'm no help with.

If I have this correct, that would be Numbers v3.6.2.

I use a utility called “Mountain” to deal with theimproper disk ejection bug. Pointless searching for that by name.

Often, if an app shows up in the "purchased" section of the App Store you will be able to download an OS-appropriate version of the app from there.

Actually I knew what this thread is all about. Probably because I had my coffee this morning. But I agree, not the test names.

Usually App Store (for both OS X and iOS) will let you download older versions compatible with your current OS. have you tried that?

My Mid 2011 iMac is running Yosemite and I opened Numbers to check it out. I just don't use Numbers but discovered that this current version, 2.0.3 allows you to send a file to iWeb under the Share menu.

Sure enough, open a file, go to Share/iWeb and it opens iWeb ready to insert the file! A bit of legacy coding hanging on there!

This only works if you already own the app. If you don't own it, then you have to find a computer running the current OS (in this case High Sierra), and purchase the app in the App Store under High Sierra. Then go back to your older OS computer (Yosemite) and you'd be able to download the appropriate version for that OS.
