Everything is tiny!!!!

Bought a new Asus 27" 2560x1440 display.

It's great, got a new, to me, mini running OSX 10.13.4

What am I doing wrong? The header that runs across the top of the Mac (Apple down thru wifi, date and time, is all tiny, maybe 6 or 7 pt.

I can't figure out how to change it so I can see better. 66 years old, I need all the help I can get!

Open System Preferences

Click on “Display”

Under the ‘Display’ tab, hold down the Option/Alt key while you press on the ‘Scaled’ button alongside Resolution to reveal all available screen resolution options for the display. You must hold the Option/Alt key when clicking on ‘Scaled’ to reveal all possible screen resolutions for the external display

Choose the resolution desired from the complete list of available screen resolutions, then close out of System Preferences as usual

Or check "Accessibility" (I think it's called) settings in system prefs. It seems to me they have settings there for older eyes.

You think that's small? Try getting a 4K monitor. I went from 2550x1600 on a pair of 30" ACDs to 3840x2160 on a pair of 28" Samsung 4K monitors. Yeah, I could drop the resolution, but I like have all that space. Most programs (including Finder) allow you to change the default font size. I zoom webpages when I'm surfing so I can read them.

I hate to say it but you probably should have gotten the first monitor you mentioned in your previous thread (the 32" HP).
