Apple Watch: Moon, Face Masks, Bell, Water Drop

moon: do not disturb, right?
bell: do not ring
face mask: theatre mode.

Aren't these almost the same? OK, I understand the bell does not ring, but you could still get notifications on the watch. But what is the difference between Theatre Mode and Do Not Disturb?

Could you just turn airplane mode instead when you are in theatre?

Also what does the water drop do?

Water drop activates Water Eject Mode (the haptic function that clears water from the watch's speaker vent).

Theatre mode silences and darkens your watch face until you touch the digital crown; you can still get haptic engine notifications.

Moon is do not disturb; no notifications at all.

theater mode turns off 1) notifications and 2) raise to wake. I use theater mode mostly for kayaking so I turn it on and then turn notifications back on (I do this only because there isn't a quick way to turn on and off raise to wake). Kayaking will trigger raise to wake on every stroke.
