BitTorrent minimizes server stress by connecting to multiple locations.

Little Snitch alerts you to every new server connection until you tell it otherwise.

The fun part is watching LS go crazy when you start a BT download. Lots of domains, all over the darned place, incl. a few in Canada.

When this gets boring, you just tell LS to allow everything, so you don't have to keep clicking "Allow."
