I have Love / Hate Relationship with that album.
Still have the vinyl, but never went digital with it.
Have fun.

Where are they playing in Houston?

Saw them back in 1985 at UCSB. Opening band was General Public, who ROCKED THE HOUSE. The Fixx were dull in comparison.

Great, enjoy! I was a big fan back in the early 80's. I loved Jamie West-Oram's guitar sound and Rupert Greenall's use of the PPG Wave synth, which had a distinctive sound back then that a number of New Wave bands and artists were using. I got to see them on their first US tour at the Bottom Line in NYC, in November of 1982, with the Hooters and received an MCA promo 45 of their first single, Stand or Fall, at the show, which I still have.

That's pretty cool. I'm looking forward to the show.

True dat. I only wish I had seen the guys when they were still with the Beat.

Dave Wakeling is a resident of the South Bay these days — a colleague of mine knows him.
