Da BOMB! Move over over Battleship Earth, a new flop reigns.

Billionaire Boys Club brought in $126 on it's opening day. One hundred and twenty six dollars - not 126, 000 or 126M, but $126.

Allowing that the show had a very limited release in 10 cities, that still means $12.60 per city.
Not even Moviepass could help.

Wasn't this a TV movie in the 80's?

Would you sit in a dark theatre haunted by Kevin Spacey ?

So not even the cast and their relatives wanted to see it.

Young. Handsome. And cunning. Based on the incredible true story of a group of wealthy boys from LA in the 80's, who established a get-rich-quick scam that turns deadly.

With such a sympathetic, feel-good story, I don't know what could have gone wrong.

To be fair, that was opening night, not opening weekend.

And it opened in no major cities.

And it's been available streaming for a month.

It could pull in over $500.

This is sad: I checked to see how it's performed so far.

It didn't even make the chart.

American Animals, a small indie film out for 12 weeks and presently playing in 4 theaters made nearly $7,000.

So to get this straight, it didn't do as well as Kazaam. Let that sink in for a minute.

At least it has a chance to beat out The Room (total gross of $2395 in two weeks, adjusted for inflation).

Already did. The Room's $1,800 estimated box office return includes foreign and domestic receipts.

Believe it or not, between streaming and foreign sales, this flick has made nearly $1.5 million.
