Yup, surprisingly good at comedy.

I’ll say it. I wouldn’t mind having just a little Burt Reynolds in me.

I know. That’s what she said.

The Man Who Loved Women.

And one of my favorite Reynolds movies.

I remember him in The Twilight Zone and Gunsmoke, and was a big fan of Dan August and Evening Shade. I sitll have that on a HD somewhere. Or a Beta tape. LOL

An alumni of the school my son attends.

I've been wanting to watch "The Longest Yard" for awhile, but all that ever shows is the junk remake with Adam Sandler.

RIP Bandit.

A damn fine acting talent with a sparkling wit. From his TV work to his movies he helped to define an era. Thanks, Burt.

Part of his interview on Conan, when I saw this a while back live, I really put him in a different category. Showed a lot of class and smarts on this interview.

Yes! I was just going to mention that clip. I also saw that episode back when it aired and really liked his attitude. He was excellent with retelling some of his past exploits.

I thought it was strange that before Burt was introduced, they went to commercial, and when the show returned, Burt was already sitting in the guest chair. Conan then introduced him, and proceeded with the interview. I thought then that Burt looked sickly, and perhaps he couldn't walk so well and maybe wasn't too long for this world.

R.I.P. Burt. You were oh so entertaining in your time. So sorry to see you go.

Bummer. I did enjoy watching him. The Longest Yard was great, and of course, Deliverence. Although in recent years he did not look well. I just recently saw him in The Last Movie Star in which he effectively played himself, if not specifically by name.
