Recording a phone call?

Hey guys, I need to do an interview with someone in another state and record it. I have a MacBook Pro, a Yeti Blue microphone, Adobe Audition and an iPhone 6S. I also have a Focusrite Scarlett Solo. How can I make this happen?

For a low quality recording:
Make the call on speakerphone. Record with the Macbook and microphone. Done.
Be sure to cover regulations in both states (some are single party authorization, some are dual party authorization).

High quality recording: I have no idea.

I should add that they KNOW they are being recorded. Just FYI.

Always ask and get their authorization recorded. "This line is recorded blah blah blah"

You might also try Bodalgo Call. Better yet if the other party has a halfway decent microphone, too.

All they'll have is a telephone.

As noted, I've had excellent luck using the iP's speakerphone w/ the speaker near the MBP's microphone, and recording directly into QuickTime Audio. Quality couldn't be better (assuming other party is using a decent mic) as long as cell reception is good, though I've used wifi calling w/ equally stellar results. Optimal placement for the iP seems to be between 3 - 4 inches from the MBP's mic. Good luck.
