A washer & dryer in the house!
Posted by: DaviDC.

This afternoon the used Kenmore washer & dryer I bought Saturday was delivered & tonight I did laundry in my own home for the 1st time since September 1988.

This is the dawn of a new era: No More Laundromats!

Congrats on your new era, DaviDC.! I'm curious why you're talking about it in the political ranting forum though? Are laundromats a hot button topic that might take this thread quickly south or something? winking smiley

Is a stove soon to join the line-up? And let me just say, I think a washer and dryer are much more of a necessity than a stove. As long as you have a microwave and a toaster oven, of course. You might need a hot plate, too. Oh well, you might as well spring for the stove.

I've been so conditioned by forum fragmentation that I wasn't sure where to put this!

One more thing...

DavidC,
If you want it moved, send me a PM and I'll scoot it over to the "lights" side. See this is what Gutie was talking about.

You might want to consider getting the metal braided supply hoses. The rubber ones have an unfortunate tendency to burst after a while (and usually when you're on a 2 week vacation!).
