There was a similar finding that cellular signals can be used to 'see' a stealthed aircraft. When signals are pervasive, a 'hole' is visible.

Hmm. . . Could be reversed? Design a router that could tell if someone was traveling around the perimeter trying to pinpoint its location, and whether that someone was reading changes in field strength from outside. Then it sets off an alarm.
