Logo is from the Jean Patou Luxury Goods Company, Paris.

"Founded in Paris in 1914, Jean Patou's heritage as a couturier is synonymous with modernity and empowering femininity. Acquired by LVMH and under Guillaume Henry’s direction the house of Jean Patou inaugurates a new era which is committed to operating a modern, sincere, and honest business which honors the traditions of luxury craftsmanship and remains committed in offering a modern interpretation of femininity."

From reading the wiki article that archipirata provided, looks like your guess on age was correct. They closed the couture house in the late '60's and just continued selling perfumes.
