PDF Problem

I downloaded a 190p catalog in pdf form.

For some reason it's rotated L 90º.

CMD-R makes a page right way 'round, but that's a lot of CMDing.

Is there a way to correct the how catalog with just a few clicks?

Rotating my 'Book 90º isn't really an option.

I have to assume they wanted a customer to D/L the pdf, but why sideways?

The company did send me a paper version, but that so 1990s.

Open it in Preview and show the sidebar with thumbnails. Select a thumbnail image, then CMD-A to select all pages. CMD-R should rotate all pages 90º.

Thank you!

That worked, but for some reason the pages don't line up any way I try to view them.

Continuous, single page, double page, no joy. It's very odd. You'd think I could match the end of one page with the beginning of another, but no joy. I don't see any continuity, and almost every page has text and graphics cut off.

It may be the way Preview is rendering the pdf. I'll try Adobe Reader, which I haven't had on a Mac in years.

I can rotate all pages at once in Acrobat. Not sure about Reader though.

Reader did rotate them all at once, but the format/layout is still off.

None of the pages line up. There is no page where the end matches the beginning, and the only pages that display correctly are the front and back covers.

I don't know if it's a Mac vs Win or Safari vs Something Else thing.

I'll try downloading it with Firefox, but I don't think it'll make any difference.

Maybe the document is in printer spreads. That could account for the out of orderness.

can you "print it" and rotate 90 degree in the printer driver dialog, and instead of printing it on actual paper, save it as a new PDF?

Also you can post it here and I could try to rotate it myself, I have acrobat pro.

That's very likely.

Brilliant idea, but no joy.

As is, the rotation fits an 8.5x11 page nearly perfectly, in the Preview Print page. So rotating it for 'printing' wouldn't be productive and didn't work. It looked like the original pdf.

Much appreciated but as it's firearms catalog, I've no wish to attract detractors nor represent in any particular fashion. But thanks for the offer, s-t.

There was somebody hear or at DM who used to take opportunities to 'talk guns' and inform everyone that he carried, and I've no desire to be that guy nor defend the practice.

I appreciate everybody's input, but I'll just call 'no joy' and let it rest.
