The thread title pretty much says it all. Someone asked if they should be concerned about contrails. Hilarity ensued.

"Regular" contrails are simply frozen water crystals that form as a jet flies at altitude. These contrails dissipate quickly IF all they are is water.

Five or six years ago, I was in a National Park out west. While there, I spoke with a gent who was in his 70s and this topic happened to come up. He told me that decades ago while he was working for the Federal government, he witnessed LOTS of "experiments" that the Fed conducted (and was a participant in some of), many of which were related to human exposure to various chemicals. Contrails were just one way some chemicals were distributed. He stated unequivocally that said experiments would be the cause of untold issues/problems in the not too distant future and, the surge of many current medical problems could be traced back to said experiments IF all the information re those experiments were made available to the public.

Kid said it was a popular prank to install that switch in an unused slot on planes at the local flight school.

A chilling thought...

Once we place nonhuman animals outside our sphere of moral consideration
and treat them as things we use to satisfy our own desires,
the outcome is predictable.
