They are, and seeing tail lights that are designed to be mounted perfectly parallel to each other and perpendicular to the road installed flat on two slightly outwardly and upwardly inclined planes made that video very hard for me to watch without wincing at every rear view of the car.

It was not unlike watching one of these "Uncomfortable Image" (relax, nothing dirty, but if you have OCD you probably won't make it all the way through even though it's only 10 minutes) videos- [www.youtube.com]

interesting, not my cup of tea.
I certainly wouldn't take it any faster than it is shown going.

I dunno how Enzo let this off the drafting table.

@Ombligo - there's some balance in Nashville and Memphis. Some.

What makes a “car” a car? I’d call this an enclosed motorcycle.

And wouldn’t that gyro resist, or completely prevent this vehicle from leaning into turns? Can’t imagine what that driving experience would be like.

Apparently it’s owned by the Lane car museum here. I also watched two other videos about the car. Had to reengineer some major bits that were missing from what they acquired. And no, they say the design isn’t good much beyond 30mph or so. But not bad for a prototype.

I dunno how Enzo let this off the drafting table.

Enzo probably had nothing to do with it other than supplying the chassis to their most prolific design house. It was just a show car, albeit a fully functional one, born of Pininfarina seeing what they could come up with using the sharp-edged, chiseled forms more commonly put out by Bertone at the time.

In one shot in the video, there is the PF Modulo in the foreground, the two-wheeler behind that, and behind that what looks like the show car that inspired the drop-dead gorgeous but flawed in many ways De Tomaso Mangusta. If that is indeed what it was, that's a show car worth drooling over!

The production version of the Mangusta-

I'd love to see a car with zero axels. There's got to be a way. Tolls and such around here are based on axel count.
