Iphone audio over bluetooth, but not Siri voice commands?

Hi guys,

I got a new car... It's my first with a bluetooth stereo. I love that my iphone connects automatically, and that music streams wirelessly.

What I don't like though is that when I try to have Siri send a text message via my voice command, it uses the mic on my car stereo which is not nearly as accurate as talking into my iphone.

Is there a way to have bluetooth for music playback but not for voice commands? I appreciate any suggestions.

If your car allows you to just connect your iPhone as a music source ?

Alternatively use an audio cable, and it will use the mic on the iPhone.
And finally, you can 'train' Siri to understand you when you use your car audio.

Thanks for the excellent food for thought. I will look into those options!
