Still hard to believe it's been eight years since his death.
Steve Jobs would be 64 years old if he had lived.

imho, All of humanity, now and in the future, owes him a tremendous debt of gratitude.

R.I.P. Steve

edit: fixed it, thanks

Wikipedia says he died October 5th, about a week ago.

It's sad, and I wish he were still with us. However, he was a significant cause of his death, so I've read. Maybe if he had sought medical treatment earlier...

He died on 10/5. It's my father's birthday so I remember the date.

Oh wow, I remember my Facebook Memories Photo Feed suggested a Photo from Oct 5, 2011 earlier this week.

It was one of the last Macworld SF Expos that I had attended. I think the iPod was introduced to that one - the OVERPRICED Mp3 player that I THOUGHT NO ONE WOULD BUY at $499.

I didn't realize it was the date that Steve would die years later...

It was also the same day that a great, unsung civil rights leader died. Unfortunately, he got overshadowed by Steve.
Rev. Shuttlesworth was a patient of mine for two years in Cincinnati. He was a fascinating man.

It was the 5th anniversary of my mother's passing. I was sitting in the park, watching the sunset. I got home and my son told me. I was pretty numb. I still am on that day.

Apple’s dedication to make macOS devices central to the digital hub died about the same time.

I miss Steve.

I miss Apple of 1998-2011. Steve made everyone excited to see what the next great Apple product would be.

Gone is the excitement.

Maybe I was just drinking too much of the koolaide back then.
