I forgot how much I like Mavs...

...until I went to Sierra.

Geezes, but a bland iteration.

Bland as in low contrast.

Gone are the blue headers that tell one which column is selected..

I tried increasing Contrast, in Accessability, some. No joy. Both brightness and contrast are increased.

Zero improvement.

I've been going back and forth between two computer in different rooms, one on Mavs and one on Sierra.

I must have acclimated to Sierra on my MB in short order.

When a good man is hurt,
all who would be called good
must suffer with him.

You and I have memories longer than the road that stretches out ahead.

There is no safety for honest men except
by believing all possible evil of evil men.

We don’t do focus groups. They just ensure that you don’t offend anyone, and produce bland inoffensive products. —Sir Jonathan Ive

Perfection is the enemy of progress. -Winston Churchill

And hope is a lousy defense.

You make me pull, I'll put you down.

Mister, that's a ten-gallon hat on a twenty-gallon head.

I *love* SIGs. It's Glocks I hate.

I like Mavs alot, but fixed email in Sierra is more important.
Still, I run PT10HD on Mavs, everything else is Sierra.

In keeping w/ the theme, I have a FrankenMac PM7300 that has OS 8.1 and 8.6 boot drives, along w/ 9.x variants.
Never know when you're gonna need to access old/ancient data.

Have there been any new features in recent OS versions? I’m not really in the know anymore but from what I hear Apple hasn’t really provided a reason to upgrade since whatever version gave us text messaging unification with our phones. Now THAT was a reason for ME to upgrade.

The new file system is one. From what I read, Apple is still working out the bugs on that.

It is what it is.
