Wouldn't that be the ultimate end of the season? Hawks vs. Patriots in SB. Marshawn finally gets the ball.

me thinks Pete is off his meds.
Today's NFL is not the NFL Marshawn left behind.
RB's peak well before they're 33 years old too.

Seahawks are a run team with no running backs. Everyone is injured except one rookie.

Lynch is a perfect fit for this situation and possible comeback Cinderella Story. One for the history books if it actually works. If not hey, it still makes a great story. And you just know the fans will go friggin nuts at the game. The fans in Seattle love Marshawn (Beast Mode). Lynch could inspire the team to play at a higher level too.

And you just know the NFL top brass are giving high fives to each other for rescheduling the game for Sunday night. Perfect NFL melodrama to spike the ratings! Cha ching. Just count that ad revenue up!

The Hawks are probably going to lose anyway due to injuries. Way too many on both offense & defense to spark a run to the SB (Super Bowl). Their season is pretty much over. They just lost to the lowly Cardinals. Give the fans what they want to end the year and the NFL it's season ending spectacle.

When he walks out onto the field wearing 24 it's going to be another 'Beast Quake'

They already signed Turpin, who is a former player - they are in crisis mode and I, for one would welcome Marshawn back to play.

Lynch is certainly not allergic to marketing either.

just so long as Pete is still making the calls.

My last8mg memory of Lynch will always be how stupid the Seahawks were to throw the ball on the 1 yard line when they should have run it with one of the hardest to stop RB in the history of the NFL. Butler says he knew what play the Seahawks were running. In hindsight, his comment seems quite suspicious now. Should have run the ball Petey.

He didn't say that, that was your interpretation of him saying "the coaches has us practice against that play so when it happened, we weren't taken by surprise".

Pete Carroll is a really good coach who made a dumb call at a critical juncture of the most important game of the year, he'll wear that into his HOF induction.

As per usual there is more to the story:

"Marshawn Lynch worked out intensely ahead of Seahawks return"

The television ratings for this game will go through the roof...
