I just checked that site with Chrome Version 79.0.3945.117.

It still doesn't work.

IIRC, you have to enable Flash inside of Chrome. It's been a while. The last Flash site I used switched to Html5.

I tried doing this, but it still didn't work.

I got it to work (up to creating an account) on that same version of Chrome on Windows, but I did turn off all the browser cookies/malware protections once I got to the order page.

Did you follow the 2nd half of the instructions? Clicking the padlock and setting to "Allow". It seems the "Ask First" option doesn't work on that page. With the "Allow" setting set, a "View Seat Map" button appears above the pricing selection.

I saw the seating chart in both Safari and Firefox.

Is it interactive? I didn't try clicking on it.

Yea, that site is rather confusing. You saw an informational seating chart jpeg. You need Flash to even see the button to launch the Flash based seating selection chart.

LOL, whoever designs sites like those should be banned from using computers.

It reminds me of a payroll website we were using at my old job, there were two ways to access the time sheets, one was Flash and one was Java. It turns out the Flash option still required Java, I think it was just a slightly different GUI for the same database. Each time IT rolled out a Java or Flash update, the entire system broke down. The payroll guys had laptops that were never updated. How stupid.

If you try on an iPad, is there a mobile version that doesn’t need flash?

good thinking, but when I used the mobile web address then searched for the particular event, it just went to the regular page.

Flash is SO last decade. Actually it’s past that. Security issues have made it persona non grata pretty much everywhere...

Education is even worse. Eve little game or activity that teachers flock to uses flash from 1998. You would not believe the pushback we got when we purchased new laptops this summer and didn't load flash at all, no exceptions, despite telling them for the past 1.5 years that it was going away and to find other tools.

I so wish that was so. At work the web app for handling the student workers time clock punches is still using Flash. At least the last update removed the need for Java that the prior version also required. Maybe another update will remove the Flash requirement before its end of life at the end of this year.

True.

But, when the thing you want/need to look at requires it, that becomes irrelevant, does it?

These places better get on the ball and replace/rework their apps and web sites. Flash is EOL at the end of this year: [theblog.adobe.com]

Everybody has had THREE YEARS of warning that Flash will go away, yet evidently, lots of developers and vendors are ignoring it. (and users, for that matter - teachers in particular)

This... a thousand times this...
One teacher was PI55ED that a site he's been using for 15 years won't work now - it's Flash based. I told him FOUR YEARS ago that it was going to quit working sooner rather than later.

The 3-D chart posted above.

Like others, I had to provide Safari/Flash permission to display the page before I could see it.
