I have a different model, from Costco. This one seems a little better (44 dBA vs 46 in mine)

My Bosch from 2008 seems to be working fine still, though one of the buttons broke off.

I will say this; the next time I buy a dishwasher, it will definitely have one of these:

* a big round physical knob on the front of it for setting/activating
* one of those bar switches (kind of like on an old AC in the car) that you use to activate it

and since it's 100% doubtful anyone makes the first two choices anymore...

* top buttons for activation & settings

The Bosch has all front buttons, and is in a bad food prep spot so people sometimes lean against it and turn it on or off.

It's spelled " y'all "

We have a decent Whirlpool that is used more for storage than washing. That one was picked more for clean aesthetics than anything. With just the wife and me, I find it easier, faster and cheaper to hand wash. I don't think ours has been used more than 2-3 times in the last two years. If we remodel, I'm very tempted to just leave it out for another cabinet (just leave the connections for easy reinstall in the future).

It's just the two of us, also. I've rehabbed 4 or 5 kitchens over the years and have never installed a dishwasher. I always plumbed for them but put a 24" cabinet in its place. That being said, the one you linked to looks nice smiling smiley .
