My daughter sent me a photo today

It took me a while to understand the significance, this is the relevant part.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Yes.

Is she pregnant?

Yes, but we knew that. We do send cryptic messages to each other sometimes and this one is to do with her pregnancy.

The big "hit" from that album was "I've Seen All Good People", so is she having twins?

For the record, the vinyl should have had a 'sleeve'?

Interesting thoughts you two but as I said, it's nothing to do with Yes. The big clue, now I know, is it could have been any album.

It did when I gave it to her a few years ago. My guess is it's still there but not turned 90 degrees as it should be.

The fetus turned around. They do that a few weeks before due date, if not it is the breech position and may require C-section.

The record is 3/4ths of the way out of the sleeve. I guess that means triplets.

Wow, creative stuff people! Nowhere near as dramatic as you are thinking, she's just thirty three and a third weeks into the pregnancy.

I might show her some of your thoughts, except the one thinking she might have The Clap!

That was actual a metaphor; I assumed the sleeve was still in the jacket.

As a lad, I had occasion to borrow and lend albums. If I was lent an album with the sleeve's opening aligned with that of the jacket, I made a mental not to loan that individual an album.

If someone returned one of my albums in the same condition, they never got another one.

The circle of borrowers and lenders got fairly small.

He told us the answer but many missed it.

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan

Actually before voodoopenguin said this has nothing to do with Yes, I thought that she was telling dad that he was going to be a grandad to a boy, which is what "Clap" was inspired by - Steve Howe's son clapping when he heard dad play.

When the Other was 33 1/3, he came into the room and spun around slowly. Took me a bit to get it. A little faster at 45. I am looking forward to how fast he will do it at 78. wiggle smiley
