Selfless sacrifice

Word is filtering out about an Italian priest who gave his life in an act of kindness to a stranger.

Father Giuseppe Berardelli, 72 was a priest near Milan who died on March 15 from Covid-19. His parishioners had purchased a respirator for his use earlier. But Father Berardelli insisted it be given to a younger person who was struggling to breathe, a person he had never met. In doing so the priest gave his life to help another.

He lived John 15:13, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends."

Thank you Padre, may you find eternal peace and never struggle for another breath.

There was a nurse that killed herself so she wouldn’t infect her patients.

Some people here in the US think that everyone over 50 should be willing to sacrifice their lives to protect the economy for our children. Not exactly the same though...

If human sacrifice was good enough for the Aztecs, it should be good enough for we Americans.

TX Lt Gov Dan Patrick. I asked him if he was volunteering, he did not respond. Sports Host Dan Patrick took great pains to assure his audience that he's not the same guy!
