UPS: new battery installed, UPS says 100% full. How long to wait before I test it?

I got that Weize battery set today, both units measured 13.03/13.05V. I Installed one in the Cyberpower with dead battery and it works fine. It shows 100% full.

I then plugged in a 100W bulb in the other UPS, an APC 600, and it died in 50 seconds. It is rated for 600 VA and 360W and it should last 23 min at 100W. I replaced that battery too. It also shows 100% full.

I am tempted to do the 100W load test again, just to see how long it takes to drain the battery from 100% to 50%.

can I do the test now, or should I wait 24h?

do you recall the date stamped on those batteries? mine said 19026, which I guess means 2019 week 26.

iirc, Mine were in that date range. That's the normal method for date codes.
That zero or O may be the plant ID. I got some PowerCells that were coded
"1944G2", "G" being the plant ID and "2" the work-shift.

I wish button cells had a uniform system of date codes. Seems they're a mishmash
of letters & numbers depending on manufacturer.

Some APC UPSs need a reset sequence done when a battery is changed. Until then they may not charge the battery, still set to not charge a dead battery from before he swap.

I run the test. 200W load. UPS data sheet says run time at 200W is 9 min. I got 4 min 45 sec.

I am not impressed. Will test the other UPS later this afternoon.
