No Touch Donation Centers

Cleaning up? Goodwill appears to be setting up 'no touch' donation centers , at least in NE Ohio. I'm gonna drop off a whole buncha tech stuff there... the old HP touchpad and all it's gear is going. (It's too slow for my sanity).

I'd give them a quick call (when they're back open) before making the trip and dumping your laptop and e-waste to them. Some locations are pickier than others.

There’s a separate place that accepts electronics here. Regular donation places like Goodwill won’t. Unfortunately, you have to pay to get rid of most computer gear.

Staples will, or used to, take a lot of tech stuff.

YMMV. The Goodwill near me takes just about everything electronic but CPUs. I've gotten some good deals on KBs and monitors there.

My goodwill loves working electronics. They take everything EXCEPT a CRT.
