Ouch!

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan

If you use that little spoon shaped attachment at the right pressure setting, I think it probably would work. There are many/most attachments that would evoke davester's response. But those bidet add-ons that have been posted here lately are only $40ish, which is cheaper, and better overall suited for bideting, making it seem that the waterpik thing wold be nothing more than an interesting project for those peeps w/ an extra/unused waterpik. It certainly doesn't make sense to go out and buy one for such an off label use.

Do you use the Water Pik as originally intended before of after you use it as a bidet substitute?

There are also hand-held sprayers that attach to the toilet water line.

yes, but when you get a bidet, you have to use it as a water pik.
just so it doesn't feel slighted.

Absolutely!

You can also brush your teeth or trim nose hair with a Dremel rotary tool.

Is this a good time to ask which pressure washer to buy? Asking for a friend. Related: Are gasoline fumes truly harmful indoors?
