Mac Price sheet from 1985

Note the $800 for the extra half Megabyte of memory at $800.

Extrapolated, there are around 244 half Megabytes in a Gigabyte, meaning back then, a Gig would've cost 800 x 244 = $195,000.

A 128 Gig drive would've cost a cool $25 million.

Plus the $1300 Daisy wheel printer and you're all set.

(I didn't purchase my first computer, a IIci, until 1992, so this predates me)

The memory kit was to take a 128K Mac to a 512K.

Did not see that. And in 1985, a British Pound was worth $2.63 Pounds in todays' money, or $3.23 US.
