Is anyone paying less than a buck per gallon for gas?

I saw a couple of ARCO stations this morning - in California no less - that had gas for 2.09 per gallon. It's been decades since I've seen that.

Gas prices in California will never get back to those levels. We are still at ~$3 per gallon.

I'm seeing 1.93-1.97 here in Long Island, NY. It's been awhile since it hit below $2. We have a way to go to hit below $1. Someone remind me again why the talking heads say low gas prices is bad?

Wonder how high they will go when this subsides. Refiners don't want to shut down refineries. They take a long time to reopen...

Yeah... that'll happen...

Still at $3.09 here... If oil stays down another month, we MIGHT see $2.99. Maybe. but don't hold you breath.

Unbelievable. Costco Bellingham has it for $1.51. We're practically neighbors -- under 4 hours driving.

75% of Yakima is considered 'essential'. Life hasn't really changed much here. Someone has to harvest the asparagus, cherries, pack the apples, tend to the hops... Currently Yakima has the highest per capita rate of infection for Covid-19 on the entire west coast of the US.

I paid .99 just over the IL border in Racine Wisconsin last week.

In Chicago, the taxes are .81 per gallon alone!

Ranging between 98¢ and $1.08, generally, though I'm seeing areas nearer the City of Little Rock going up to around $1.25 or so.

$1.34 at Sam's.

I've seen $1.39 at some rural stations on my way to the lake.

$1.49 at the sheetz close to me.

I've topped off a couple times in the past couple months, but not driving very much.

they could drive trucks down I-5 to Seattle so we can get cheap fuel. but it isn't about supply, it's about the Man not wanting us to have cheap fuel.

The last two weekends I got gas at the Reservation in Irving, NY for 87.9¢ A gallon. I only needed 7.179 gallons and paid $6.31 total. Then I got 4% back on my charge card. For some reason it has since jumped up 30¢ a gallon!

A few weeks ago, I paid $2.89 a Costco.

A full tank lasts me about a month, more under lockdown.

So it'll be awhile before I check again, unless I top the tank off next week.

There is a lot of wholesale price fixing based upon territories and regions.

I mentioned before that gas prices outside Seattle are way lower than the Seattle-added gas tax. And the price difference between towns/cities 30-50 miles apart isn't being normalized by trucks selling the "cheaper" fuel in the more expensive markets simply by driving that extra 30-45 minutes to the station.
