That cut suggests a whole bunch of tumblers to thwart would-be lockpicks, and the length of the key suggests something armored on the outside. Safe Deposit Box?

My first thought was the key the Mandoshawan gave to the monk in 5th Element.

There's a working German safe deposit lock with key on ebay for 70bucks.
It's gonna be a chore to retrofit it into an interior home office door though with no turn-knob on the inside. LOL

My Wells Fargo safe deposit key has only a couple of cuts and all on one side.

I want a cool one like that!

you can cut a key at Home Deport for $1. I am curious how would they react if you give them this key and tell them "here, make a couple of these"

They'd probably just tell you they couldn't make them because they don't have that blank in stock. Also, standard key cutting machines can't make the squared-off cuts found on that key.
