I think it is running a Phorum software, IIRC that was written by Brian Moon, the same person who set up deal mac back in the days? maybe I got that wrong.

still, I cam curious what Hardware (Mac Mini???) and what OS X version is on this server.

Just curious, that's all.

Thanks

That’s Brian L. Moon to you, sir.

Why I know his middle initial, I have no idea.

Yes, Brian L. Moon was the main original developer. [www.phorum.org]

OWC Larry should be able to say what the hardware was. I don't think it matters too much.

If we all ask nice, maybe deckeda will repost his MoT thread on it.

You mean this one?
Nevermind, I failed to comprehend what I was reading!
(time for a nap)

As for the forum server, I'd guess it's a hosting outfit separate from OWC's system.

Used to be a G5 in their office.

Goog pointed me to a Deal Mac post on MoT (Go Broke Saving Money) but I got a login page. :-)

And I thought it was on an old Mac SE with a 10 MB external hard drive. The small drive is why we are allotted such limited space in the hosted images in the control center.
