I got in five and six mile runs. I did 3 upper body workouts. Probably ate a bit too much though. Trying to keep this pace up but sometimes I just don't feel like doing anything but eat sugared treats.

Ouch!

That's gonna leave a mark.

I thought the box was going to slide and bump her booty.

Oh snap!

I'm at work today for the first time in 3 weeks, so my routine is suffering.

After climbing one flight of stairs, my heart rate was 127.
I think I'm out of shape.

Walked three days last week.

Doc previously told me that he'd get the gear out of my guts and I could get on with my life starting in July. Now he's making noises about September.

So, that's probably the status quo until this fall.

I’ve been on the road a lot this past week but still managed an average of 1.6 miles of walking (according to the Health app.) Weight is up three pounds in the last two months which is less than I expected.

BTW, I've confirmed that the Health App's estimation of distance is full of $***. I went through a lot of data in it while talking to Mrs. Zealand about steps and distance last night. In Nov. the app, perhaps after the iOS13 update, started classifying steps as being slightly less than 2' and in fact does nothing for actual distance tracking.

So my 2.9 mi walks home which are one way, so easily verifiable in Google Maps or even something as crude as a car (!), are now classified as 1.9 mi.

It could be just my iPhone but if not, this is BS for everyone.

Several times now my activity ring has closed while I was petting the cat.

Cannot figure out what the step counter is measuring. It certainly is not steps taken!

Had my first 33 mile round trip bike ride on Wednesday this week on Santa Ana Bike Trail from Lincoln to Huntington Beach round trip. (I have been riding 16 mile rides on a regular basis ~4 times a week, some were as high as 22 miles.)

Trip to Beach: (head wind)
Time: ~67 min
Ave Spd: 14.8 mph

Trip Back: (tail wind)
Time: ~56 min
Ave Spd: 17.7 mph

Hovering now around 206#. Feel a lot better than I did at a peak of 218# in mid Feb (when I took photos for Drivers License and Passport. LOL!) My goal is to be under 200 by end of July, but I think I could get there around beginning of July. Down to 190# would be good goal by end of year.

I built a nice gym in the garage, need to start some moderate weight training back up again. Now that semi-retired, I have time to get after this kind of stuff. Need to stay fit and active.
