Apple technical support blows monkey chunks

I couldn't login to the app store with my Apple ID.

I got this message:

Quote

Verification Failed

The application you have selected does not exist.

So, I click on the forgot password link after failing to login a few times.

I reset my password at the Apple site, and I momentarily login after having to answer stupid security questions. Then, I almost immediately get logged off due to "inactivity".

I talked to an Apple support person, and she was completely clueless. She eventually told me there is an outage.

Nothing works now. Not my Apple ID at Apple, nor my Apple TV app on my Roku box.

It's all just DEAD.

If Steve Jobs were still running Apple, heads would be rolling.

“ I talked to an Apple support person, and she was completely clueless.”

My experience with Apple Support has always been a little hit and miss; more than once I said “Thank you very much”, hung up, and called back later to get a different person.

Ummm, your point is? That mouse, while not particularly well-designed ergonomically, actually DID work. If it didn't, you popped open the bottom, cleaned the little rubber ball and rollers, and you were good to go. I didn't find it much worse than the old style teardrop beige mice in that respect.

Hey, Snow Leopard and 9.2.2 were REALLY stable, as was 8.6.1

I remember when the customers were NOT the beta testers, the code developers were.

Nothing wrong with the hockey puck mouse, for a one button mouse.

I never had any problem with it.

Well, the cord could have been a bit longer.

No, I don't.

Neither do I, a Mac user since 1986.
Still using OS9.2.2 on my MDD G4, having crashes 50% of days used.

I don't consider this stable - I will still bitch about OS X now and then, but at least it doesn't suddenly stop working...
