So... any mail-in Mac Laptop repair places we like? (Our last Apple Authorized repair shop went under)

Whelp... I'm not surprised, but our last Apple Authorized repair shop just went out of business a couple weeks ago. They'd been awfully "tight" financially for a couple years, and I did my part by buying overpriced adapters from them... but, alas, the "current condidtions" did them in.
20 years ago, we had three Apple Authorized shops. Then, two, when one moved out of the area... then, when another shops owner retired and no one wanted to buy the business, two.

So... I currently have two Macbook Air's that are out of warranty that have what seems to be hardware problems (one probably liquid damage by the coffee on the keyboard, and one battery issue) that I'd love to make someone elses problem to repair, or at least get a proper evaluation so I can tell the boss "they've had it, we need to order two laptops".

Any "Mail In" repair shops that have a good reputation?

Our sponsor? Almost 20 years ago, I had my PowerBook G3 repaired. They shipped me a box, I shipped the Powerbook back.

EDIT. It was iResQ (then MacResQ) that I used!

Louis might be the single biggest Right-to-Repair advocate in the US today. NOTE: made with some reservations (the owner isn't a real fan of OWC). He has a NSFW video channel where he streams repairs, and generally flames Apple on a nearly daily basis about poor design/engineering.

I've seen some of his videos... can't say I disagree with some of his flames about Apple on Right-to-Repair.
I've learned enough to know that my big fat fingers don't belong inside a Macbook Air with conductive tools. :-)

Paul, I've personally have had very good results from Rick's Computers here in Western IA. They are an authorized Apple repair shop and Reseller. I've dropped off Macs at their shop and they have then shipped them back to me. I'll confess that I don't know if they allow Macs to be shipped in for repair. Here is the link to their website FWIW: [www.riks.com]
I know that they are the shop that our educational agency uses for repair of the agency's Macs.

AGI Repair. Send all our Macs and iPads to them. Impeccable workmanship and actual OEM quality parts. Most of the time you can’t tell they were worked on.
