Apple computer trade in

Haven't looked up a source to confirm but on the news this morning it was reported that was Apple is starting a computer trade in program.

One side note to this, it was also reported that computer sales make up 10% of sales! Only 10% are computer sales now? That might explain a lot...

Edit: Just saw the story again and 10% of Apple's profits are from computers.

I suppose a dozen Powerbooks G4 with bad screens, bad Superdrives, bad hard drives, and fried logic boards wouldn’t get me much.

Please post where you found that deal. I was only offered $35 for that machine.

Their trade-in values are notoriously low.

The Wife got a new SE for her birthday. Apple's offer was $30 for her old SE. Got $70 for it on EBay - Buy It Now, 1 day after posting. Take off all the fees and I'm still twice the Apple offer.

10% of Profits for a 1.5 Trillion $ company is a huge company!

My 2017 21.5" iMac is worth recycling, according to Apple, and nothing more.

(BTW, it's spelled < y'all >.)
