Some day I will find a can of sprayable Lysol and have less odorous footwear. The search continues.

pRICE,

Places have it or one of its competitors. It's just a matter of finding it and placing the order immediately. Got four cans of a non-name alternative from coffeewiz.com. Ordered 4 in the morning at about 5:30am. By 7:30, while at my office, I tried to get more and they were already sold out.

If you know anyone that works at a bowling alley see if they can get you a can of their shoe spray.

Sometimes, you just can't get rid of the stink. I had a pair of Reebok sandals that I absolutely loved. They were very comfortable, and slipped on so easily. But they stank. Really bad. I tried everything. Lysol, baking soda, and other stuff people recommended from google searches. Nothing worked for more than one or two wearings.

I cleaned them up right before a trip to Japan... they smelled fine when I packed them. I wore them once over there, and they started stinking again. So bad that I had to put them on the balcony so the room wouldn't stink. I finally just threw them away. I've yet to find another pair that I like as much.

Have you tried Desenex? A Podiatrist recommended shaking some into shoes and sneakers before wearing them. Much easier and neater than trying to put it in socks before putting them on.

Yeah, I tried that with my sandals. Worked until I wore them again, then they stank again. Haven't had that kind of problem with any other shoes or sandals...just that one pair.

When our kids were at that stage we used Dr. Scholl's Odor Destroyers Shoe Shot Deodorant Powder.

Wash the innersoles if possible as well. Dry them. Dry them again.
I use this to dry shoes without having them knock the dry door open.

Soak a sock in isopropanol and stuff it in your shoe. Then, with the sock in the shoe, put the shoes in a sealable plastic bag. Wait a few days.

Take off and nuke it from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
